Lupus is a complex autoimmune disease affecting thousands in Fiji and across the Pacific, with many cases going undiagnosed. The prevalence is particularly high among women, and limited healthcare access and low awareness pose significant challenges in the region.

Currently at an advanced preparation stage, the Prieska Power Reserve (PPR) project in the Northern Cape will be the first of its kind in South Africa to implement a hybrid renewable energy system to produce green ammonia and green hydrogen – initially for the local market, and longer-term for export as well.
