Continuing our legacy of designing, engineering, and managing critical infrastructure in Pakistan, SMEC has recently been engaged as lead firm in a joint venture with Temelsu, to implement two hydropower plants in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region.

January 10, 2022. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between RITES Ltd., a Government of India enterprise established in 1974, under the aegis of Indian Railways, and SMEC International, Australia-headquartered engineering and consultancy company specializing in infrastructure, energy, and urban development. By signing the MoU, parties have committed to delivering sustainable and resilient solutions to infrastructure development projects worldwide.

In partnership with Aspire Network Fiji (a local non-government organisation) our team has completed work on the SMEC-Aspire Vunimanuca Learning Centre, a classroom ravaged by tropical cyclone Yasa in December 2020 that has been redesigned and is now equipped with modern learning tools.
