Construction activities are being carried out along the one of busiest roads in the state and must overcome challenging tunnelling conditions through the Himalayan geology. Due to the alignment of the proposed road, some portals have been planned and designed in soft rock conditions.
This strategically important road running along the river Beas will connect famous tourist places such as Kullu, Manali and Leh, improving trave comfort and safety for tourists year-round whilst improving critical supply routes.
