SMEC appointed Project Verifier for Nowra Bridge in NSW
SMEC has been awarded the Project Verification role on the AUD 342 million Nowra Bridge project under a tripartite agreement with Transport for NSW and Fulton Hogan. Fulton Hogan is currently undertaking the design and construction of the new incrementally launched four-lane bridge over the Shoalhaven River. The project also includes upgraded intersections and additional lanes on the Princes Highway.

Bridging the gap for trade between Botswana and Zambia
Separated by the Zambezi River, the governments of Botswana and Zambia in conjunction with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the European Union (EU) are funding construction of the Kazungula Bridge to connect the two countries by road and rail, replacing the existing ferry and border facilities.

TBM launches under the streets of Melbourne
