Once operational, Gunsynd Solar is poised to contribute to Queensland’s increasingly renewable energy landscape. With a capacity to produce up to 250 gigawatt hours annually, the project will abate approximately 150,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions, contributing substantially to the region’s sustainability efforts.
Moreover, this solar project holds the potential to power up to 32,000 households in Queensland each year, offering tangible benefits to local communities. Beyond environmental considerations, the project is set to support the local and national economy, providing employment opportunities for up to 100 individuals at its peak.
