SMEC Macau
SMEC has operated in Macau since 2009. SMEC’s first project in Macau was the City of Dreams Sky Sign project. This project involved provision of independent engineering checks to endorse the design of a temporary works platform which was required to erect two signs at the Hyatt Hotel. In Macau, SMEC has experience in the Transport, Built Environment and Government and Advisory Services sectors.
Most recently, SMEC has been involved in a variety of traffic and transport planning surveys for a proposed residential and hotel development on Cotai Island. SMEC undertook a full Traffic Impact Assessment study to prove that the impacts of the proposed development on the road network were insignificant.
