SMART Tunnel Project
The Stormwater Management and Road Tunnel (SMART) is a storm drainage and road structure located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. At 11 km, it is the longest stormwater tunnel in South East Asia and has helped to mitigate flooding problems in the city centre.

Doha Metro Green & Red Line
The Red Line, also known as the Coast Line, runs for about 40 kilometres from Al Wakra in the south to Lusail in the north. The line also connects Hamad International Airport at Terminal 1 to the centre of the city. The Red Line has 18 stations with the Legtaifiya Station allowing passengers to transfer over to the Lusail Tram.

Change Management for Rail Network Operator
In Chile, Santiago Metro engaged SMEC to provide professional services during their corporate SAP implementation. Over a period of eight months, SMEC’s team of five personnel provided support to approximately 750 maintenance personnel consisting of Santiago Metro employees and external contractors.

Upgrading the N1 route
One of the most important routes in the country, South Africa’s N1 runs from Cape Town through Bloemfontein, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Polokwane to Beit Bridge on the border with Zimbabwe. With construction dating back to the 1970s, the 43km stretch from Ventersburg to Kroonstad urgently required complete reconstruction.
